Something New

Well we went out this past week and bought a new 5th Wheel Travel Trailer.  Hey, Two For The Road has to keep up appearances you know.  Our old one was starting to have lots, and lots of things go wrong with it.  Some big items and some small but once we listed everything that we needed to fix we decided there was no sense in pouring more money in to an older trailer.  Now don’t get me wrong, our old trailer was great and we have had lots of fun and good memories with it but it was six yrs old and had taken a lot of beating while following us all over the US and Canada.  She was getting weary and it was time to put her out to pasture - so to speak.  So, out with the old and in with the new!  She’s a beauty, 36 ft long, center entrance door versus rear entrance, 3 slide outs – woo hoo, fully enclosed bathroom, electric awning, beautiful new cushy furniture, queen size bed, 32 in LCD HDTV and much, much, more.  Life is sweet!  Here are a couple of pictures of the outside.

Home Sweet Home

Wal-classic-disney-7467181-1024-768 Well we’re back home safe and sound.  As the title suggests there really is “No Place Like Home”.  As much as I always look forward to getting the heck out of town, I am equally as excited to get back home.  We really did have a fabulous time though.

As a recap to what some of you have been following on this blog recently, we attended a Crab Feed in Lodi, CA then visited Crater Lake in beautiful Southeast Oregon.  We reconnected with family we hadn’t seen in a long, long time (to long actually), visited the Olympic Peninsula and the Olympic National Forest, drove down the coast of Washington State, Oregon State and part of California.  Visited a cheese factory in Tillamook, saw the Spruce Goose, and took a Wild Ride on Jerry’s Jet Boats up the Rogue River in Gold Beach Oregon. And last but definitely not least got to see our new great niece Marley and her sister Presley while we visited with my sister Denise and her hubby Mike.  Phew I’m exhausted -but happy.  Thanks to everyone who visited my blog (and now Glen’s since I let him be an author).  Keep coming back once in a while and see what else we’re up to.

Happy Trails and Cheers,

Bonnie
