Hi there – after our travel day yesterday we set out this morning to visit the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. It’s located in McMinnville, Oregon and is home to the Spruce Goose built by Howard Hughes in 1947. The Spruce Goose was relocated to McMinnville in 1990 from Long Beach California were it was housed for many years. It was a very interesting museum and had lots of old planes and space capsules etc. I hope you enjoy the album. Tomorrow we leave for Vancouver Washington for a few days.
Happy Trails and Cheers!
Great! I sent the link to Joel and Micah.
ReplyDeleteOh man!
ReplyDeleteThat air museum tops my list for "air museums I haven't been to yet".Being the Hughes-fascinated person I am I have not seen the Hercules(the name Hughes chose)in person. . .yet.
Thanks for posting!
Joel, just as soon as we can get to California for a visit, we're going to this museum!
