SURVIVAL MODE & HOME AT LAST

Hi there - well first off let me say we're home and very happy to be after our experience the day before yesterday (Sunday) when we drove from Tucumcari New Mexico to Kingman Arizona straight into and out of a snow storm!! It wasn't much fun and Glen says all we did that day was try to survive. The roads we're icy and slippery and there were semi trucks and cars all over the sides of the roads. We actually sat on Interstate 40 for about 45 minutes at a dead stop to let the tow trucks and emergency vehicles clean up an accident a few miles outside of Gallup New Mexico. Fortunately no one was injured other then their vehicles, but it was a harrowing day to say the least - very stressful especially for Glen.

Truck off to the side of the road, the SUV we sat in back of for about 45 mins. And another car off to the side of the road.

Anyway, we made it home safely and like I said we are very happy to be home. It's always nice to go away but even nicer to come home. We had a wonderful time at Stephanie's with her and the boys. Take care and we'll blog again in a couple of weeks if we have anything going on.
Love to all,
Bonnie and Glen

  1. So you made it home in January, did you go into hibernation, I know you two have gotten into some kind of mischief by now.
